The fee paid by self-employed workers rises after approval of the PGE
The fee paid by self-employed workers increases after the approval of the General State Budgets
The approval of the General State Budgets (PGE) is accompanied by bad news for the self-employed, since it includes an increase of almost four euros for self-employed workers who contribute for the minimum base.
Specifically, these self-employed will spend 278.87 euros per month, which is an increase of 3.87 euros. This is due to the fact that the minimum contribution base, which now stands at 919.80 euros per month, will increase by 1.4%, to 932.70 euros per month, when the PGEs come into force on Tuesday.
This rise in the self-employed quota will also affect self-employed workers who contribute for the maximum base, which will increase from 3,751.26 euros to 3,803.70 euros per month. In this way, the fee they pay is 1,137 euros per month, 16 euros more than last year.
