ORGANIZATIONAL AND PREVENTIVE MEASURES FOR CORONAVIRUSES IN THE WORKPLACE

Dear Customer,
Given the exceptional health emergency situation caused by the appearance of CORONAVIRUS, and the multiple consequences that derive in the field of health, education (suspension of school activities) ... and its direct impact on the world of work, below, We inform you about possible organizational and preventive measures to be applied in your company in the event that employees are directly or indirectly affected by this pandemic.
ORGANIZATIONAL MEASURES.
- TELEWORK AND / OR USE OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES.
- When the work and computer activity allows it, the company and worker may agree to carry out the work remotely, at the employee's home, via telework
- Likewise, the use of information and communication technologies, such as videoconferences, Skype, ... is recommended in order to avoid meetings and travel.
- TIME BAG - TIME FLEXIBILITY - REDISTRIBUTION DAY AND VACATION.
- Agree with the employees on the redistribution of the working day and the annual vacations to flexibilize and adapt to the productive needs.
- An hourly exchange can be agreed, respecting the annual work day, for which, hours not worked due to this exceptional situation will be paid, but must be recovered within the stipulated period.
- DAYS OWN / PERSONAL BUSINESS
- Check if the applicable Collective Agreement exists days of their own, personal, family affairs, and in that case if they are paid or not.
- AGREE DAYS OF PERMIT NOT RECEIVED
- Agree that those days that the worker does not attend his job due to this exceptional situation, will be unpaid leave
- If another alternative measure is possible, go to THE TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF EMPLOYMENT CONTRACTS, via EMPLOYMENT REGULATION RECORD , under articles 45 and 47 of the Workers' Statute
EMPLOYMENT DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS
Only in the case of people infected by COVID-19 and those in preventive isolation for having been in contact with those affected, will they be considered in a situation of Temporary Disability assimilated to leave due to an accident at work, and will have the right to receive 75% of their regulatory base from the first day of the withdrawal. These medical losses will be issued exclusively by the doctors of the Public Health Service.

Other planned measures pending approval by administrations:
The Spanish government has announced that it is studying the creation of a new extraordinary Social Security benefit to compensate parents who have to lose hours of work to care for their children while the schools close , and that the payment of the provision would be borne by the State at no cost to the company. The fathers and mothers who have to take care of their children and from their company cannot offer them other solutions, such as teleworking, may request a reduction in hours and Social Security will pay this part of the salary, through the aforementioned extraordinary help.
The Government is also evaluating the possibility of a moratorium on the payment of social contributions for companies and the self-employed.
